Each Christmas, we staff the Salvation Army red kettles located at the two entrances to Brookshire's in Lindale. Volunteers stand a two hour shift on four shifts every day for the two weeks prior to Christmas Eve. The manager gets the kettles, and bells from the Salvation Army office in Tyler. He recruits the volunteers and arranges to make a deposit at the end of each day.
